Privacy Policy

Account and sign-in: when you create an account or sign in, we store your name, email address, and a user ID provided by the authentication service. If you sign in with a social account, we receive only the profile details you approve.

Listings and wanted requests: anything you publish — title, description, price, photos, location (country, city, and optionally a map position), tags, and the contact details (email, phone, WhatsApp, website) you choose to show to buyers.

Seller verification: to sell on FindItGoodie we may ask for your name, email, business details, and a government ID document. ID documents are uploaded to private storage — they are never public — and can only be viewed by platform admins through short-lived secure links.

Inquiries and bookings: when you contact a seller, we store the name, email, and phone/WhatsApp you provide so the seller can reply to you.

Support messages: anything you send to our support team.

Payments: payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details; we only keep a record of what was paid for and the payment status.

Usage and analytics: we count visits, listing views, and ad clicks in aggregate form to understand how the platform is used.

Location: with your permission, your device GPS position is used only to find listings near you, and is not stored on your profile.

To run the marketplace: show your listings, connect you with buyers or sellers, and handle bookings.

To keep the platform safe: seller identity verification, fraud prevention, and enforcing the Prohibited Items & Services policy.

To communicate with you: inquiry notifications, seller approvals, and support replies.

To improve FindItGoodie: aggregated usage statistics and search quality.

Sellers you contact receive the inquiry details you submit (name, email, phone) so they can respond.

Stripe processes your payments under its own privacy policy.

Email delivery providers send notifications on our behalf.

When you search, your query may be sent to AI search services to find matching listings from across the web — never your identity.

Advertising: select sponsored ads may appear on the site and in the app version. Every ad is reviewed and approved by our admin team before it runs, can be switched off at any time by our admins, and advertisers never receive your personal data — ads are shown based on the page being viewed, not on who you are.

We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

We use the minimum needed to run the app: a session token to keep you signed in, and small local preferences such as your chosen currency. No advertising cookies are set by us.

Account and listing data is kept while your account is active. Support and verification records are kept up to 12 months for safety and dispute purposes. Aggregated statistics may be kept longer but contain no personal data.

You can see and control everything we hold about you. From the My Data page you can delete your listings, bookings, wanted requests, and notifications, or request deletion of your account and all personal data — we process account deletion requests within 30 days.

FindItGoodie is not directed at children under 13 (16 in the EEA/UK). We do not knowingly collect data from children below that age.

FindItGoodie operates worldwide, so your data may be processed in countries other than your own, under equivalent protections. Where local law grants you additional rights (such as GDPR or LGPD), we honor them.
